Abstract

|
High performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of Lidamidine-HCI in the antidiarrheal preparations was developed Lidamidine-HCI was dissolved in methanol and separated on an octadecylsilane column (??u-Bondapak C_18) with a mixture of methanol and water (80 : 20) as a mobile phase and detected at 254nm.
The detection limit was 5-15㎍ and rate of the recoveries from model preparations was 97.58%.
